LONDON – Members and friends of the Eurasian Creative Guild (ECG) and Hertfordshire Press came together in London to celebrate the traditional spring festival of Navruz, continuing a long-standing annual tradition.

The event began with a guided tour of the historic Fitzroy House Museum, before transitioning smoothly into an English afternoon tea under the direction of ECG Chair Francesca Mepham. In a warm and convivial atmosphere, the main programme then unfolded.

A highlight of the evening was the official presentation of the new art catalogue The Treasury of Great Steppe – 2026, which features works by 27 leading artists from across Eurasia. Particular attention was drawn to the striking cover artwork by Kazakh artist and ECG member Natalia Karpenko from Almaty.

ECG Patron and Founder Marat Akhmedjanov shared highlights from his recent trip to Latin America and announced the launch of the Spanish-language edition of OCA Magazine. The new edition is expected to reach an audience of more than 700 million people across the Spanish-speaking world.

Guild Guardian Olga Lawson presented the new “Eurasian Fairy Tale” competition and outlined the Guild’s key creative projects planned for 2026. Timur Akhmedjanov, in turn, spoke about the upcoming release of the third instalment of the comic Elish and the Wicker Tale.

The evening also marked the official welcome of a new Guild Guardian, Natalia Tingaeva, who impressed attendees with her confident presentation of a new film project scheduled to be pitched at MegaFest London in May.

The gathering was filled with spring energy, fresh ideas and a strong sense of creative community.
