Kazakhstan to open Honorary Consulate in Manchester to boost bilateral cooperation

LONDON, Oct 07/Correspondent LP/ –On Friday, 11th October, British and international officials will witness the appointment of Mr Abid Latif Chohan as Kazakhstan’s Honorary Consul in Manchester.

The Honorary Consulate will also be inaugurated on this date in the presence of Kazakhstan’s Ambassador, H.E. Magzhan Ilyasov, who will hand over official documents issued by the government of Kazakhstan to the new consul.

Several officials of Kazakhstan Embassy will be present during the ceremony to witness Mr Chohan assuming his new position.

The honorary consul brings with him a wealth of experience in foreign affairs. His passion for geopolitics and international relations will be central to this new role.

One of his main responsibilities will be to facilitate commercial and economic exchanges between Kazakhstan and Great Britain, two countries with significant potential for collaboration in various sectors.

Despite the considerable geographical distance, Kazakhstan and Great Britain share a notable history of mutual support and cooperation.

Under the leadership of Kazakhstan’s Ambassador, recent years have seen significant achievements in relations between the two countries.”
