Overseas Voting Kazakhstan’s Presidential Election Shows 57.5 Percent Turnout as Voting Abroad Continues

Astana (Raza Syed) November 20  Citizens of Kazakhstan will have the opportunity to vote at 68 polling stations opened on Election Day, 20 November, in diplomatic and consular offices of 53 countries.

As of 7 p.m. Astana time, voter turnout outside the country was 57.5%, meaning he was nearly 7,400 out of 12,841 registrants, Deputy Foreign Minister Roman Vasilenko told the Central Election Commission. I made a report at a briefing session at the conference (CEC).

So far he has completed work on 10 polling places, with 57 still operating and his one polling place in San Francisco will soon open. Support centres for foreign observers and media will operate in Almaty and Astana from 17 to 21 November.

More than 20 briefings were held with representatives of international organizations such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Islamic Cooperation Organization, the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia, the Organization of Turkish States, the Parliamentarians’ Meeting of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, etc. . , the International Turkic Academy, and representatives from abroad.

The CEC has accredited over 614 observers of him, and 254 foreign journalists were qualified to cover the election.
