Brunei celebrates 39th National Day with great passion of patriotism

Bandar Seri Begawan (London Post ) Bandar Seri Begawan was filled with crowds of all walks of life who gathered to witness the patriotic and colorful celebrations of the 39th National Day held at Taman Haji Sah Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifudien on Thursday.

The National Day Grand Gathering was held in Taman with Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Muizadin Wadaura Ibni Al Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddin, Sultan of Brunei Darussalam and members of the Royal Family.

The event began with the singing of the National Anthem by the Rajai Isteri High School Girls’ High School (STPRI) Choir, followed by an inspection by His Majesty the Guard of Honor before returning to the Royal Days.
The parade of participants consisted of 3900 participants.

Silat performances by his 9 national silat members who have won multiple medals at regional and international levels were also presented, along with silat dances by his 60 students from Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Primary School and Pusar Urak Primary School .

Silat performances were performed by nine National His Silat members. The ceremony also featured themed performances by 120 traditional musicians playing gambus, gendang, serling and grintangan, along with 500 core group dancers and 2000 frame group dancers performing Jiping Laila Semba and Bandar Seri Begawan. , Brunei Bumi, and other traditional songs for a seven-minute performance.

This year’s celebration kept the same theme as last year, ‘Menjayakan Wawasan Negara’, which is still important as the Sultanate aims to realize the Brunei Vision 2035. The celebration emphasized the development of the country and its cultural heritage as a national identity that remains relevant to the nation.

The National Day celebrations concluded with a flyby of his six Royal Brunei Air Force Blackhawks led by Captain (U) Muhammad Adib bin Haji Hasim.
