READING(Raza Syed) -The annual “Reading Toy Run Show 2023” held in Reading, where thousands of motorcyclists participated. Hundreds of people gathered on both sides of the streets of Reading to welcome the participants of the “Toy Run” with applause. The Toy Run demonstration was a staple in the town’s Christmas calendar for 38 years, attracting motorcyclists from across the Thames Valley and beyond. The participants of the Toy Run gathered at the meeting point Wood, RG2 9FW in the afternoon, and the motorcyclist convoy set off at around 2 pm.

This year, more than a thousand bikers participated in this wonderful demonstration. As in previous years, quite a number of bikers were dressed in Santa costumes, and some even had Christmas trees attached to their bikes.

According to a spokesperson for the Reading Toy Run, they have been working with the charity Bernanos for a long time. He said, “Each participant brings a toy for a young person who is then taken to Barnardos High Close School in Wokingham. One of the reasons for working with Barnardos is that they are a big organization and have a lot of projects going on all over the place. They have the logistics to deal with thousands of toys and can also support other charities and social services in the Thames Valley area.” The run has a great atmosphere and has created a lot of strong friendships. “I have been riding bikes all my life,” he said. “It’s very important in the biking calendar.”
