FORESTHAVEN, England:A fatal head-on collision on the M4 Ruth First Highway ended the life of 32-year-old Selishia Temone Govender just hours before her planned birthday celebration. The accident occurred near the Broadway offramp around 3 pm, with ALS Paramedics describing a chaotic scene involving two vehicles colliding head-on, resulting in one vehicle overturning. Despite efforts from paramedics and the Durban Fire Department, Govender succumbed to her critical injuries at the hospital around 7:30 pm. The devastated family, who had been eagerly anticipating her birthday, now mourns the loss of a beloved daughter with funeral arrangements set for Friday in Grove End, Phoenix. Police are investigating the incident as a case of culpable homicide.
