GAZA-The Gaza Health Ministry announced today that the death toll of Palestinians from the Israeli occupation forces has escalated to 31,184 since October 7, with an additional 72,889 injuries.
The Israeli occupation forces have been implicated in eight massacres against families in Gaza within a 24-hour period, resulting in the death of 72 Palestinians and injuries to 129 others.
The Ministry emphasized that numerous victims are still trapped under debris and are likely deceased, as the Israeli occupation forces are intentionally obstructing the access of ambulances and civil defense teams to them.
It’s important to highlight that women and children constitute 72% of the Palestinian casualties.
Regarding the count of Palestinians who have succumbed to malnutrition and dehydration, the Ministry disclosed that the number has increased to 27.
International media sources reported earlier today that numerous displaced Palestinians have sustained injuries due to the continuous Israeli occupation forces’ raids on residential homes across various regions in Gaza, extending to Rafah, located in the southern part of the Strip, which is also under artillery bombardment by the Israeli occupation forces.
Our correspondent noted that in the town of al-Qarara, situated north of Khan Younis in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, 11 bodies of Palestinian martyrs were retrieved following the town’s bombardment by the Israeli occupation forces.
He further reported that as a consequence of the intense Israeli raids on Hamad in Khan Younis, residential towers were set ablaze.
He also disclosed that the Aabasan area and Khuza’a town, located east of Khan Younis, were subjected to artillery shelling by the Israeli occupation forces.
In Deir al-Balah, situated in the center of the Gaza Strip, eight Palestinians lost their lives and others were injured in a house that was bombed by the Israeli occupation forces. Israeli bulldozers and machinery razed the area amidst continuous gunfire.
Two brothers, who were also fishermen, lost their lives when the Israeli occupation forces targeted their boat off the coast of the al-Nuseirat Refugee Camp.
Moreover, the Israeli occupation forces bombed a house in the al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza, resulting in the death of seven Palestinians, including five children, and injuries to six others.
The death toll of Palestinians attempting to receive humanitarian aid near the Kuwait Roundabout and al-Rashid Street has escalated to over 400, with the number of injured individuals reaching 1,300. Several Palestinians were killed and others were injured in the same vicinity while awaiting aid deliveries.
According to Al Mayadeen’s correspondent underscored that the Israeli occupation has infringed upon the sanctity of the holy month of Ramadan since its commencement, with Israeli raids persisting from Iftar through to Suhoor at dawn.
