RIYADH (Reuters) January,2– Islamic State said on Monday it attacked Taliban forces in Kabul.
The militant group said on Telegram that 20 people were killed and 30 injured in Sunday’s attack.

The interior ministry said it would release an official death toll, disputing Islamic State’s claims of casualties.
Islamic State has claimed several high-profile attacks in Kabul, including a raid on a hotel for Chinese businessmen and a shooting at the Pakistani embassy.
