CANBERRA (London Post with AAP) Dr. Majid Khan-NSW Prime Minister Chris Minns faces a possible minority government but has ruled out a deal with independent MP Gareth Ward if he sticks to his South Coast seat, Kiama.

Labor’s hopes for a majority government have weakened with the Liberal Party’s victory in the key office, but the Mins transitional ministry took over the reins of government in a small ceremony at the Government House on Tuesday.

Labor needs 47 seats to win a majority in the House of Commons, but has only 45 as the ruling coalition advanced to eight.

Liberal candidates overtook early Labor leaders in Goulburn, Terrigal, Winston Hills, Holsworthy and Miranda on Monday.

The prime minister has flatly ruled out a deal with his incumbent as the count continues in Kiama’s fierce competition. Ward pleaded not guilty to the historic sexual and lewd assault charges when he appeared in Nowra District Court on Tuesday.

The former Liberal Party minister was dismissed from the party after being indicted and suspended by parliament last year.

Labor’s early leadership in Kiama faltered on Tuesday as ABC’s chief election analyst Anthony Green predicted that Ward would likely retain the seat.

“I will not do business with him at all,” Minns told reporters.

“I’d like to see what the outcome of the vote will be,” he said. We are still very hopeful and I think we are well positioned to win this seat.

Minns also sent a sharp message to Crossbench about his management style.

“If we are in the minority and a small party on the crossbench is willing to support Labor, we will be happy to accept that support,” he told reporters in West Sydney.

“But we do not, and will not, be doing any more horse trading or business.”

Minns said after his MP’s team of eight Labor front his bench took the oath of office at the Government House.

The enormity of the opportunity was evident in the face of the 43-year-old Prime Minister, who raised his eyebrows after taking the oath.

“I don’t know the final composition of the next Congress, but my team and I are ready to go,” he said. “We know we have a huge responsibility on our shoulders and the work starts today.”

Prue Her Carr is her second woman to become Deputy Prime Minister of New South Wales, following Carmel Her Tevat, taking over a portfolio of education and early childhood education.

Daniel Mookhey is Treasurer, former opposition leader girlfriend Michael Daley is Attorney General, Jo Haylen has a transportation portfolio, and Penny Sharpe is Secretary of State for Environment and Heritage.

Ryan Park is Secretary of Health, John Graham is in charge of roads and the arts and is Secretary of State.

The entire ministerial body is expected to be sworn in next week once the final composition of parliament is decided.

Another potential seat was eliminated from the labor column late Monday when party Balmain candidate Philippa Scott recognized new green MP Kobi Shetty. Labor has a lead of about 230 votes as the tally continues at Ryde.

Minh’s first act as prime minister was to announce a clinical-led task force to reduce waiting lists for surgeries in public hospitals.

About 100,000 people, including 4,000 children, are waiting for elective surgery in his state of NSW, and one in six of him waits longer than is clinically recommended.

“You are in pain and discomfort,” he said, Minns.

The new government received a political boost when his three independents Alex Greenwich, Greg Piper and Joe McGar promised credibility and supplies should Labor fail to win a majority. I was. According to initial tallies, Labor will win eight seats in the Senate, six in the Union, two in the Greens and one in One Nation.
