“Pakistan and Kazakhstan launch direct flights to boost trade and tourism ties”

LAHORE(Correspondent LP)-Pakistan and Kazakhstan have launched direct flights between their respective countries, commencing on Saturday. The objective behind this initiative is to bolster connections for tourism and trade.

SCAT Air Company from Kazakhstan will operate two weekly flights on Wednesdays and Saturdays, utilizing a luxurious Boeing 737 aircraft, between Lahore and Almaty.

Yerzhan Kistafin, Kazakhstan’s ambassador to Pakistan, expressed that the direct flight, which will take approximately two hours, will enhance commercial and trade relations, as well as expand opportunities for collaboration in the tourism sector.

Lahore, Pakistan’s second-largest city, is renowned for its abundant cultural heritage, notable architectural landmarks, vibrant cultural scene, and gastronomic traditions.

Almaty, Kazakhstan’s largest city with a population of around 2 million, holds the reputation of being the “city of a thousand colors.” Situated in the heart of the Great Silk Road, amidst the picturesque Alatau mountains, Almaty offers a captivating blend of natural beauty and cultural experiences.
