DUBAI, Nov 27(TASS): In an interview with Al Arabiya TV channel, Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev stated that any missile strikes on Russian territory are unacceptable and will be thwarted.

“It is absolutely clear that strikes are unacceptable. Any strikes will be thwarted,” Medvedev emphasized. He referenced recent incidents, noting, “In the strikes carried out with American ATACMS missiles on the Bryansk Region, these missiles were hit and did not reach their targets. But undoubtedly, what is happening now crosses all red lines.”

Medvedev explained that in response to these threats, Russia deployed its latest Oreshnik hypersonic intermediate-range ballistic missile.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin mentioned that on November 19, six American ATACMS tactical ballistic missiles targeted Russia, and on November 21, British Storm Shadow missiles attacked military facilities in the Bryansk and Kursk Regions. However, Russian air defense systems successfully repelled these attacks, preventing the enemy from achieving their objectives.
