SEOUL, South Korea, Feb 16(Gulf News)- Actress Kim Sae-ron was found dead at her home on Sunday, according to Seongdong police, who are currently investigating the cause of her death. Police have found no signs of a break-in.
A friend of Kim’s visited her home in Seongdong, Seoul, around 4:50 pm and contacted the authorities, according to The Korea Herald.
A police official quoted by Yonhap News Agency stated, “We have not found any signs of foul play yet, but we are investigating the circumstances surrounding her death.”
Kim, who began her career in 2009, quickly gained fame in the entertainment industry with her roles in dramas like Hi! School-Love On, Listen to My Heart, and The Queen’s Classroom. She also made a significant impact in films, including the 2010 hit The Man from Nowhere, and was last seen in the Netflix drama Bloodhounds in 2023.
In May 2022, Kim’s career faced a setback due to a drunk driving incident, resulting in a fine of 20 million won (RM61,546) in April 2023.
