The press service of Uzbekistan Airports said that reaching 10 million passengers was a record achievement for the country’s airports. They attributed this success to their efforts to bring more foreign airlines to their airports and to the launch of new domestic airlines, such as Humo Air, which started operating in December 2023.

They also noted that the passenger traffic at Uzbekistan airports increased by more than 2 million from 2022, when it was 7.9 million.
