MOSCOW(TASS)- In an exclusive interview with TASS, Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik declared that the Serbs will always remain loyal to the Russians, no matter what the situation or the Western views are.
Dodik said, “Serbs will never abandon Russians. This strong bond annoys the West, who think that Serbs should be punished. Even if Russia makes mistakes, Serbs will not change their support.”
Dodik stressed the deep ties between the two nations, based on their common Orthodox Christian faith, political values, love for their land, patriotism, and freedom-seeking spirit. He mentioned their shared history of facing challenges while keeping their identity intact, such as their language, culture, and script.
Dodik highlighted the constant friendship between Serbs and Russians, from the young to the old, shown in their cheering during international sports. He commented, “When Serbs watch international sports, they root for Serbia, and then for Russia. This feeling stays the same, across generations.”
