MOSCOW, Russia. August 28/Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has extended his warm greetings to the organisers and participants of the 11th International Aerospace Congress, which this year commemorates the 90th birth anniversary of Yuri Gagarin, the first man in space and a global hero.
In his message, the Foreign Minister highlighted Russia’s continued leadership in space exploration, citing the nation’s advancements in building new spaceports, boosters, and satellite constellations. He emphasised Russia’s commitment to staying at the forefront of space technology and exploration.
The Foreign Minister also underscored Russia’s openness to constructive collaboration with all participants in space activities, welcoming international initiatives that promote the use of space for the benefit of humanity and exclusively for peaceful purposes.
Expressing his hopes for the Congress, he voiced confidence that the event would foster mutually beneficial cooperation in space development between Russia and other countries. He concluded by wishing the participants a productive congress and success in their endeavours.
