BOSTON (Reuters) December,3  Prince William welcomed U.S. President Joe Biden to Boston’s waterfront on Friday on the final day of a visit by the British royal family to turn its attention to solving environmental problems.

William and his wife Kate will travel abroad for the first time since taking over the titles of Prince and Princess of Wales after Queen Elizabeth’s death in September, and will be on climate change and other things they are campaigning for. I tried to shine a spotlight on the cause.

But in the midst of a US visit, Netflix Inc (NFLX.O) released the trailer for his series of upcoming documentaries about William’s brother Harry and his American wife Meghan, reigniting conversations about the royal rift. I put on Buckingham Palace also addressed a new racism controversy.

On Friday afternoon, William smiled as he met Biden outdoors in the cold weather along Boston’s waterfront. The two men took a short walk before a private meeting at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.

Kate and William last visited the United States in 2014, when they were guests of then-President Barack Obama at the White House.

Their latest trip came just days before Harry and Meghan stepped into the limelight at an awards ceremony in New York.

To much of the British media, Harry and Meghan have become royal villains, turning their backs on the service and using their royal status to build lucrative careers, earning millions of dollars, including Netflix. By contrast, William and Kate are usually portrayed as loyal and serious in the British media, reflecting the style of the late Queen.
