As part of the 14th Tashkent International Film Festival “The Masterpiece of the Silk Road”, the “Days of Indian Cinema” creative evening was held at the Palace of International Conferences “Uzbekistan”.

Film makers, art fans, and foreign guests took part in this happy evening. It is known that Indian cinematography is important because it occupies the leading positions in the world. It is not an exaggeration to say that the reason for this is explained by the large number of fans of films that glorify human feelings. More than a thousand feature films are made in India every year. It is no exaggeration to say that India has surpassed Hollywood and Chinese cinema in this regard.

It is worth mentioning that Uzbek filmmakers have jointly implemented several creative projects with Indian filmmakers. Feature films such as “Alibaba and the Forty Thieves” and “The Legend of Love” are the result of this creative collaboration.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India in Uzbekistan Manish Prabhat, filmmaker Bahadir Odilov, Director of Cinema Development Corporation in India Ravinder Bhakar emphasized that the Tashkent International Film Festival will serve to further strengthen cooperation between creators.
