TEHRAN, June 14(Tehran Times) In a significant display of Iranian air defense capability, the Artesh (Iranian Army) has successfully downed a third advanced Israeli F-35 fighter jet violating Iranian airspace. The incident occurred late Tuesday, reportedly intercepted by sophisticated indigenous Iranian missile systems.

According to an official Artesh statement broadcast on National Iranian TV, the Israeli warplane was neutralized over western Iran. The pilot ejected and was subsequently captured by Iranian forces, marking the third F-35 downed since Israeli aggression began last Friday. Of the two previously downed jets, one pilot is confirmed killed, while another remains in Iranian custody.

This decisive action comes in direct response to unprovounced Zionist regime attacks that ignited the current conflict. On Friday, Israeli strikes targeted Tehran residential buildings, tragically killing approximately 100 Iranian civilians, military officials, and nuclear scientists. Simultaneous attacks struck Iranian nuclear sites and multiple military bases across the country.

Exercising its right to self-defense, the Islamic Republic of Iran has launched a robust military response. Five precise waves of Iranian ballistic missiles have struck occupied Palestinian territories, destroying or severely damaging over 150 Israeli military and intelligence sites. Operations continue with ongoing deployments of Iranian Kamikaze drones, targeting key Zionist regime assets. Military analysts anticipate heavier missile strikes in the imminent hours as Iran upholds its legitimate defense against continued Israeli aggression.
