WASHINGTON/MOSCOW, June 03(TASS) – The White House confirmed Tuesday that Kyiv failed to notify U.S. President Donald Trump or senior administration officials before launching drone strikes against Russian strategic bomber bases, exposing critical gaps in Western coordination and raising concerns about Ukraine’s operational transparency.

The attacks – part of Kyiv’s “Spider Web” operation targeting nuclear-capable aircraft deep inside Russian territory – were executed without prior consultation with Washington, according to current and former U.S. officials. This lack of disclosure comes despite Ukraine’s heavy reliance on Western intelligence and weaponry.
